Allegro Personal Air Cooler-9991

Vortex Tubes are an effective, low-cost solution to respiratory cooling needs. With no moving parts, a vortex tube spins compressed air to separate the air into cold and hot air streams by forcing the compressed air through a generation chamber which spins the air centrifugally along the inner walls at a high rate of speed toward the control valve. A fraction of the hot air is discharged at the control valve. The remainder of the slower air stream is forced to counter-flow up through the center of the high-speed air stream, giving up heat, through the center of the generation chamber finally exiting through the opposite end as extremely cold air.

Our Carry-Air™ Filtration Panels convert shop air used for pneumatic tools and equipment to clean breathable air. They provide from 1 to 8 airline respirators a portable source of up to 15, 30, 60 or 100 CFM of breathable air from 5-125 psig. The 3-stage filtration system purifies compressed air removing water, oil and particulate contaminants. An optional carbon monoxide monitor, which can be operated in AC or DC mode, activates an audible alarm when the concentration of CO exceeds 10 ppm (set for 5 ppm in Canada). The pressure regulator includes a pressure gauge and adjustment knob with locking ring. A pressure relief valve protects the CO monitor and respirators in the event of regulator failure. The Carry-Air™ AC/DC-powered unit is housed in a rugged Pelican case for portability and protection. It includes a support stand for stability and up-right operation. The Allegro Two Worker Cold Air Full Mask System is a portable fresh, refrigerated air supply system. This system provides comfortable and safe cooled breathing air for industrial users who require an OSHA compliant fresh air supply system, with the advantages of air-conditioned air. It can maximize productivity and minimize the possibility of heat stroke, heat exhaustion, dehydration, nausea and cramps for your workers. While this cold air system improves the worker's safety and comfort, it also helps reduce their frequency and duration of breaks on the job. This self-contained, low-maintenance unit includes a removable, washable filter and is powder-coated for a longer lasting durability.
